3Shape is offering a position as Software Test Specialist. Being an integrated part of the development team, the Test Specialist ensures a high quality level of the software product throughout development.

As quality can only be built, and not tested, into software - we believe test and test specification are activities that happen continuously during development.

Our development process is agile, using Scrum, combined with different quality systems, e.g. ISO 9001. Still, we continue to improve our processes, tools and way of working with software development.

As we wish to focus on new functionality, we are currently working on automating a large part of the software tests, so experience developing automated test is preferred.

Tasks

• Design tests in cooperation with Software developers and Product Managers
• Perform tests and provide feed-back for the software team
• Develop automated tests
• Be involved in release activities for our software products

Your Qualifications
Your attitude and personality is much more important to us than many years of experience! We expect you to have a degree in technology/science and a few years' experience as a software developer or tester. You are interested in working with the following areas:

• Test and test design
• User interaction design
• 3D computer graphics
• Automated testing and agile development methods

In addition, you are

• Good at presenting ideas and information concisely
• Analytical and well organized
• Fluent in English verbally and in writing
• Determined to constantly improving skills and processes
