Danfoss Power Electronics is a world leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of electric motor controllers; that is frequency converters for devices like pumps, belt conveyors and cranes. The company is experiencing rapid growth, in both size and earnings, and is looking for a software developer to help continue and consolidate this success.

As a software developer, your primary responsibility and challenge will be to refine and execute the software development process. Your other challenges at Danfoss Power Electronics will be to:

• identify configurations, configuration items and baselines
• implement a controlled change process
• ensure adherence with the organization's development process
• audit configurations by ensuring that they contain all intended parts, requirements, architectural specifications and user manuals
• administer the build process and related tools

You will work with a top team of embedded software engineers, working in our Global Software Group, and actively contribute to achieving growth targets. As the software developer, you will be supporting the project leader.

Qualifications
As a software build-master, your primary responsibility will be to configure and build Software Configuration Management (SCM) and Unified Change Management (UCM) knowhow with configuration, process and give input to the strategy. Additionally, you:

• have a degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• have experience with C and C++
• possibly have experience with Rational Platform, including BuildForge, ClearCase and ClearQuest
• communicate well in English (spoken and written) and are prepared to travel up to 10 days per year
