For the Nacelle Support Structure team in the Research & Development department within Engineering we are looking for a CAD Manager. The team is responsible for the development and documentation of the main load-carrying components in the nacelle and focuses on driving the product and technology development of industry-leading solutions that optimize performance, reliability and product costs.

Work Assignments
As a CAD Manager you will be responsible for driving and optimizing the CAD strategy in Engineering. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover:

• Having the overall responsibility for the CAD strategy in Engineering, including designing a training strategy for CAD users
• Leading the cross-functional CAD team meetings in Engineering
• Developing, improving and deploying design rules and best practice applicable to CAD
• Leading and executing projects
• Playing a key role in the updating and further implementation of our Teamcenter, NX and Inventor solutions

You will be working closely together with main stakeholders outside Engineering and in the different regions within Siemens Wind Power, including other CAD managers and the IT Application department.

Your Profile
Preferably, you have a background in the aerospace, automotive or heavy equipment industry combined with a broad knowledge of mechanical development methods, techniques and tools. In addition, you have a proven track record of working with PDM and CAD tools - preferably Teamcenter and NX.

As a person, you have clout and the drive to create results. You are outgoing and proactive, and you have the ability to work independently. You thrive in an international environment and are capable of interfacing at all levels in a dynamic organization. Furthermore, you possess strong communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
