CFD Tester

The job
We are looking for a Tester for our Trading Products - CFD department. The Trading Products - CFD department is responsible for developing IT solutions that maintain, optimize and expand the Saxo Bank core trading platform for trading CFD and Listed products.

Among others you will be responsible for:

• Working with 2nd Level support functions within Incident Management procedures
• Knowledge sharing with 2nd level support functions
• Debugging the platform and preparing cases for development
• Working with developers, Business Support and business stakeholders to resolve issues
• Functional testing based on defined test cases in a Client - Server environment - using various techniques, from exploratory testing to system level testing
• Planning, estimating, specifying, and executing test
• Validating that solutions are fit for purpose and support the full end-to-end client business process
• Using and improving best practices within area of influence.
• Designing and documenting test cases for verification of requirements

Your profile

• More than 2-4 years of experience from testing front office trading support applications or client facing trading applications
• Fluency in English, both in writing and speech

• Basic knowledge of core Saxo Bank asset classes such as CFDs, Stocks and Futures
• 2-4 years of development experience with C# or C++

• Analytical, solution oriented, positive and energetic
• Independent and responsible
• Flexible and self motivated
• An advocate for delivering high quality - but also understands the need on to balance quality against business needs for delivery by analysis of the risks
• Excited about challenges and growth opportunities
• Equally able to work in teams and independently

It is an advantage that you

• Are experienced in using Visual Studio and MS Test Manager (or other Test tools)
• Have basic knowledge of SQL
• Have worked in agile development teams, preferably using SCRUM
• Hold an ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certification
