Maersk Line IT/ Delivery Management - Database Manager
Maersk Line IT is currently seeking an experience Database Manager to support current database development activities that are part of a strategic program, the SOA Integration Solutions portfolio. It is the intention of this program to continue to develop the existing ‘service oriented architecture' (SOA) based platform which is a core component of delivery our Vision to Reality. The successful candidate will be located at the heart of a strategic program that will play a huge role in reshaping the system landscape of Maersk Line IT in the future.

The Role
The position of Database Manager is primarily focused on managing all activities involving any current or future databases used to support projects that are part of the SOA Integration Solutions program. The role has line management responsibilities and will require the candidate to direct the daily activities of several database administrators along with coordination of database activities with the hosting vendor. The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years working experience with databases, including a 4 year college degree related to a computer specialty and some additional database training. Previous work experience will include some of the following; database administrator, database manager, systems operations, software development support and project management. This position will be reporting to the Delivery Manager for ADLT.
