ECCO Sko A/S is looking for a SAP HR Consultant

SAP is the IT foundation for ECCO's business value chain and ECCO's new SAP HR Consultant will be a key SAP HR competence in the SAP Service Development Team.

As a member of the SAP Service Development Team the whole world is your working place. You will be working with development, maintenance and implementation of ECCO SAP HR functionalities, and on a daily basis, be in contact with both external and internal business partners.

Primary areas of responsibilities:

With overall reference to the Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • IT sparring partner for the HR business, both in headquarters and globally, in order to analyze and map HR IT requirements
  • Participation in SAP HR project activities and responsible for the IT project management of these activities.
  • Design and setting up SAP HR functionalities including implementation & burn in support, followed by documentation and handover to operations.
  • Customization, continuous development & support of HR with related interface to other SAP modules/applications
  • Assistance and follow up on tasks within HR in international co-operation with HR business partners
  • Facilitate and contribute in knowledge sharing and mentoring
  • Quality assurance
  • Development and contribution of releases within HR
  • Documentation & Best practices to be followed

Travel activities on international level within own area of responsibility may be expected.

Qualifications and Work Experience
The ideal candidate has experience with SAP HR configuration in one or more of the following HR modules: Personnel administration, organisational management, personnel development, time management, payroll, ESS, MSS. The first projects you will be involved in are implementing talent management, succession planning and E-recruitment.

In general, insight into HR-related matters in an international company will be an advantage.
Your knowledge of Human Capital Management and ability to establish contact will form the basis for sparring with the business responsible persons and for the daily work in the SAP team. You know the methods used when implementing SAP HR and you understand the value of keeping the functionality within the frames of SAP standard.

You are characterized by an analytical approach to tasks and focus on what is relevant, you are realistic and give constructive feedback. You are good at establishing contact and trust, and you understand and respect cultural differences. Your professional background is experience in combination with a relevant education on bachelor or MSc level.

Corporate language is English which you master in both writing and speech.
