Focal Point Prime Mover - Maersk Line, Copenhagen, Denmark

We are looking for a new Prime Mover, who can handle the day to day support and ongoing project work of our application repository (Focal Point) and act as the key contact for the Business Process Owner, end users, and the IT organisation/our vendors on the other side.

Focal Point fulfills a number of different requirements:
Release Management
Regular release cycle, delivering enhancements at manageable intervals on time, on budget and on quality
Requirement Management
Linked to Business Process, clearly identify what we want from our vendors
Vendor Management
Allow vendors to report hours per request for tighter control and more visibility
Documentation
Workspaces have features built in to store documents
KPI & Quality
Calculate monthly statistics based on data available in Focal Point and provides reports to MLIT Management.

The key benefits provided by Focal Point are standard processes across MLIT and all vendors, to provide reporting to MLIT Management, and to improve collaboration between Vendors, Business and MLIT.

The Prime Mover role is one which encompasses:

• Managing the enhancement and development of Focal Point
• Coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure processes are aligned and to ensure results are obtained
• Prioritizing and approving change requests
• Liaising with vendor
• Developing and maintaining needed documentation
• Providing user support and training when needed
• Managing Focal Point budget
• Act as backup for other tools within Deliver y Management

The person we are looking for is:

• Self driven
• Structured (experience or understanding of project management is preferred)
• Process minded
• Able to handle immediate user issues, however maintain the long view and follow through with both types of delivery
• Capable of handling several tasks simultaneous
• With good communication skills

As you will be interacting with many nationalities/people, it is vital that you are outgoing and have excellent communication skills in English and Danish. Your cross-cultural understanding enables you to handle conflict management in a professional manner with respect to various cultural understandings.
