Information Security Manager

On behalf of our client, a successful bank based in Copenhagen, Hays is recruiting an Information Security Manager.

Your challenge
You will have the chance to shape the Bank's Information Security and contribute to it from day one. Your role involves supporting the implementation of security policies, conducting risk assessments and support adherence checks to policies.

Main tasks and responsibilities include

• Serving as an internal information security consultant to the organization in the areas of ISMS
• Leading and participating in adherence activities and other compliance activities
• Coaching and cooperating with other Security Officers
• Supporting the implementation of information security policies and if required standards within the organization
• Leading risk assessment activities and advising clients on how to implement cost efficient and appropriate security controls
• Contributing the remediation of (internal and external) audits recommendations
• Ensuring that information security continues to fulfil corporate, customer and legal requirements and part of the Bank's value generation process
  

Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience in information security in a broad range of disciplines such as: ISO27001, BCM, network security, security incident management and compliance
• Bachelor or Master degree in information security, computer science, engineering, physics or mathematics
• Background within financial sector is preferred
• CISM, CISA, CISSP or similar certification
• Clear understanding of how a security deficiency impact a financial institution
• Excellent understanding of fundamental security principles and applying them in a transparent and understandable manner
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to build rapport and credibility quickly with colleagues and internal stakeholders
• Strong planning and collaboration skills enabling high quality deliverables to be produced within agreed timescales
• Management / leadership experience is an advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken English
  

You are a true team player listening to all stakeholders and collaborating where necessary.  Furthermore you are a good at coaching within the team, and be aware of what security principles to apply and why, and communicate this in an understandable manner.
