IT Collaboration Specialist

You will be responsible for providing support for our global messaging platforms including Microsoft Exchange 2010, Microsoft OCS 2007R2, and Microsoft Lync. You will also provide 3rd level end user support for these systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Qualifications Perform daily maintenance tasks in the Exchange environment; survey monitoring logs, perform health checks.
• Monitor ticket systems for incoming problems and requests. Escalate issues as necessary.
• Participate actively in discussions regarding proactive system improvements and architectural changes
• Evaluate and execute system updates as required, following Change Management procedures

Qualifications:

• A minimum 1 to 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft messaging platforms
• A customer service oriented work mentality including the desire to work outside normal business hours if a given task requires it.
• Strong troubleshooting skills proving critical thinking
• Working knowledge of Exchange 2007 (and preferred Exchange 2010)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft OCS 2007R2 (and preferred Lync Server 2010)
• Working knowledge of Outlook 2010
• Working knowledge of SMTP, DNS and Active Directory
