IT Security Manager

The Job
As IT Security Manager you will be part of the IT Operations department and you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of operational security and continuously improve the optimal usage of our security resources.

You will take part of the daily security related tasks as well as produce and maintain the required documentation and procedures. Furthermore you should participate in the reviewing of existing and new solutions, and identify and implement improvements to increase the overall security level.

Finally as IT Security Manager you will be responsible for the liaison to internal and external auditors.

Your responsibilities will cover

• Vulnerability management
• Web and Mail gateway operation and maintenance
• Antivirus system operation and maintenance
• Certificate handling
• Security incident handling
• Design and implementation of security related systems
• Security review
• Forensics
• Thread picture assessment
• Documentation and reporting

Your profile
We are looking for a person with an extensive IT Security foundation, who is able to work independently as well as part of a highly qualified team.

Furthermore you

• Have high quality standards and take great pride in your work
• Have team lead capabilities
• Are pragmatic, service minded, and possess good analytic and troubleshooting skills
• Have a solid education and at least 5 years of experience with operational IT Security. Applicants with security certifications e.g. CISSP will be preferred
• Possess excellent verbal and written English skills, given we are an international organisation in which people of many nationalities are working, and for which the official language is English
