Join us and become our new Jacket Engineering Specialist in our department Offshore Platforms, which is part of Engineering in Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 950 employees .

We are one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources. Our business is based on producing, distributing and trading energy and related products in Northern Europe. We are also one of the leading developers of offshore wind in the United Kingdom.

At present, we require an experienced and committed jacket engineering specialist to drive the development of our technology platform for future jacket foundation designs, which will be a central element in our future competitive offshore wind power concepts.

The jacket concept will be developed in close cooperation with a number of other functions in our wind power organisation, and our primary tasks are to identify the most essential contributors to the industrialisation of offshore wind power. We prepare and implement plans in order to reduce the long-term costs significantly in relation to offshore wind power.

You will be based either at our office in Gentofte or in Skærbæk near Fredericia. You may choose freely between the two locations. You should expect a number of travels in Denmark and Northern Europe.

Your profile
You will hold an MSc or a PhD Degree in Engineering within structural or offshore engineering.

You will have extensive experience in jacket design as well as leading design teams, and you will have some years of experience from other offshore projects, preferably within offshore wind industry.

You will thrive having many stakeholders and understand the importance of technical and commercial interaction.

With your extensive experience and engagement in this exciting specialist area, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire a team of highly skilled engineers. You will have a result-oriented approach to your work and be able to focus on creating high-quality results through teamwork. You will also be prepared to work intensely during busy periods.

As we are an international company and cooperate closely with our colleagues abroad, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. Additionally, you will have good communication skills and be able to present results to your colleagues and business partners in a professional way.

We offer
A unique and challenging job in a value-based organisation focusing on decision-making processes. We offer substantial freedom with responsibility. Through your work, you will participate in the implementation of an ambitious strategy for international growth and further development of sustainable CO2-free energy solutions.

Our wind projects comprise multiple disciplines and are far from being any standard project. You will have excellent opportunities to have an influence on your daily work, develop new competences and pursue a career in a large international organisation. You will be joining a dynamic department with competent and committed colleagues who value knowledge sharing and initiatives.

You will have a competitive salary and an informal and attractive working environment. We have an active employee policy, which supports your career throughout the various phases of your working life.
