Junior Network Engineer

We're on the lookout for a Junior Network Engineer with a serious passion for computer networks.

We are a young and dynamic team building and hosting highly scalable websites for enterprise customer like TDC PLAY, CDON.COM, PLAY.COM, Hutchinson, MediaMarkt, Saturn, Weltbild, Exlibris, Mixup and JUKE.

As a Junior Network Engineer you will often take part in the whole process of building networks starting from installation of new network hardware and its initial configuration up to daily maintenance and troubleshooting of network problems. The goal is to ensure maximum performance, availability and security of our service.

The ideal Candidate
We are looking for a technically skilled individual to join network team located in our Copenhagen office, which currently consists of thirty committed individuals. We manage the full lifecycle of the services, from before the first line of code and until the system is running in daily production.

Job Qualifications

• You have a great passion for IT and strong drive to learn new things
• Basis of Ethernet and TCP/IP are familiar to you
• It's a big plus if you have hands on experience with network  (switches, load balancers, firewalls, routing)
• You are not afraid of learning by doing under supervision
• You have a desire to be part of the "next big thing"

Personal Qualifications

• You are a very good communicator
• Are open to working both independently and in groups
• Well organized
• Extremely good at documenting your work
• Our corporate language is English, so you need to be fluent in English (written/oral)

Work field
You will be working in our network team which handles all tasks related to company's networks. Your daily work will include monitoring, maintenance and expansion of company's networks, resolving possible problems and coming up with well thought solutions as well as possible improvements.

You will primarily work with 2-3 people in the office in Copenhagen, but in addition also with people in other locations.
