Are you the Lead BPM Architect who can assure the best possible process solutions in one of the largest BPM initiatives in Denmark?

BPM Capability Architect:
The BPM Capability Team has a two-sided responsibility. We are responsible for the implementation of business processes on our strategic BPM platform, and at the same time responsible for optimizing the way we work with BPM projects. We are currently running multiple large business process projects and more are waiting in pipeline.

We need a BPM architect who is overall responsible for the technical BPM solutions implemented across the projects in the capability team. A person, who can lead the technical analysts, lead developers and developers to ensure that the implementation of processes is done in the best possible way under guidance from Enterprise Architecture.
 Alongside the involvement in the projects, a large part of the role is to develop, maintain and document a common approach across the projects to increase the maturity in our capability team.

The architect would head the technical group within the BPM team, consisting of the lead developers, technical analysts and the capability architect. The architect will report to the BPM Capability Manager.

Responsibilities: 

  • Scope technical solutions together with lead developers with regards to guidelines from EA
  • Be technical solution architect for all the solutions on the platforms in question, and is involved in the projects to some extend during the whole development phase - from design to maintenance
  • Deploy EA Principles, Standards and Guidelines (PSG) in projects, and acting as EA representative in the teams, and thus ensuring, that the projects follow SOA governance
  • Act as the intermediate layer between the projects/solutions and EA
  • Feed back to EA on Principles, Standards and Guidelines - and raise exceptions
  • Bridging developers and the business
  • Develop guidelines as needed, and align with EA re-use
  • Build and maintain a catalogue of architectural decisions
  • Technical coordination across projects, dev. capabilities and enabling capabilities
  • Escalation layer for technical issues
  • Assist in identification and definition of NFR and Technical Architecture Documents, and working together with the relevant stakeholders for preparing deployment
  • Monitor data model - align and feedback changes to the Enterprise Logical Data Model team.

Skills/abilities required:
Technical skills:

  • 5-10 years experience as technical architect
  • 5+ years experience with large BPM programmes/projects
  • Excellent understanding of large scale BPMS implementations
  • Experience with Oracle BPM 10.3/11g is highly desirable.

Project skills:

  • Experience with agile development
  • Experience with multiple concurrent and dependant projects
  • Experience with working in an international environment

Personal Skills

  • Able to communicate on all layers in the organization - and being able to translate between technical language and business language
  • Technical background
  • Possessing the ability to balance and find compromises between opposing forces and opinions, within architectural boundaries and decisions;
  • As a person, fact based, result oriented; and diplomatic with the ability to act in a political environment.
