Oracle Database Specialist

A position as an Oracle Database Specialist is now open at Unity Technologies.

In this role you will be tasked with building and expanding both the Company's internal and external IT structure, maintaining existing systems and providing a stable infrastructure for our rapidly growing company. Using an Oracle database as the central engine, we integrate and replicate data between our online store, our off-line invoicing system, Salesforce CRM, customer single sign on, the financial system/general ledger, a data warehouse, and several other support systems.

Goals and responsibilities:

• Design and develop web-based database applications and workflows using Oracle and Oracle Application Express
• Create and maintain interfaces and integrations with third party applications such as Salesforce CRM and Marketo
• Keep a constant eye on data quality and find ways to resolve inconsistencies and improve workflows
• Improve and automate the daily operation of this infrastructure

• At least 5 years experience with Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Linux and open source systems
• Experience with web development and web security
• Excellent Oracle programming skills
• Good planning skills and the ability to keep the goal in sight, even when things get hectic
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work in an environment where flexibility and solution focus is highly regarded

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Linux system administration
• Experience with web application development using Oracle Application Express
