We are searching for a Problem Management Consultant with experience in managing the problem lifecycle in global IT Organization. As our new Problem Management Consultant you will team up with our senior Problem Manager supporting our efforts to further strengthen our Problem Management process. You will play a key role rolling out our internal root cause analysis process. You will work with our vendors ensuring proper quality on the RCA deliverables including follow-up on implementation of corrective actions. As our new Problem Management Consultant a significant portion of your time will be spend interfacing with our infrastructure and application sourcing partners and our Service Maintenance Leads (SML)..

Your new job
Being part of Carlsberg IT A/S you will be working in an international "virtual" company, having daily  contact with colleagues from around Europe. You will be working closely with our off-shore application support partners to ensure seamless service operation provision. Your primary focus will be on eliminating outstanding causes of incidents. The strategic purpose of your job is to prevent unplanned service interruption and keep services available accordingly to agreed service levels.

Further you contribute to optimal customer satisfaction through implementation of preventive actions to ensure stable platform. You will report to the department manager of the Service Desk function. Working location will be Copenhagen, Denmark.

In your new job you will together with your colleagues:

  • Monitor and identify the problems impacting business applications, end-user services, corporate network and global infrastructure
  • Address and coordinate root cause investigations both internally and to our business partners /application vendors
  • Act as focal point towards vendors on problem management
  • Keep track of corrective actions implementation
  • Maintain KEDB (known error database)
  • Cooperate internally with Business Relationship Managers and Service Maintenance Leads
  • Create reporting for Carlsberg IT Management
  • Further strengthen the Problem Management process
  • Analyze incidents trending
  • Take proactive activities to prevent severe incidents

To succeed in the position you will have to

  • Have 3-5 years of experience working with IT Service Management
  • Work in a structured and organized way
  • Have good communication and presentation skills
  • Be solution and goal oriented
  • Take ownership of problem resolution
  • Have ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (preferable)
  • Be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
  • Have experience within problem solving and Problem Management process implementation
  • Understand a multi-cultural work environment
