Quality Assurance Specialist

As part of our continued hyper-growth and expansion, Secunia is strengthening our quality assurance processes with a Quality Assurance Specialist. You will get a unique chance of working with the excellent Secunia vulnerability assessment and remediation management solutions. You will be responsible for the very important task of testing our software to make sure that it meets specifications and user requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Handling quality assurance projects from specs to launch
• Hands-on Software testing: Reading functional specifications, writing and performing User Acceptance Test cases and documenting the outcome
• Handling Beta test of new products by coordinating with internal support team and Beta testers, etc.
• Cooperation and coordination regarding quality assurance with Product Management, Customer Support Center, Product Development and external partners
• Continuously improving testing procedures and quality
• You will report to our Director, Product Management and Quality Assurance

You:

• You hold a Bachelor degree within the IT field or equivalent experience
• Have at least three years experience with software testing
• Have hands-on experience with User Acceptance Testing and system testing
• Can demonstrate experience with coordination and alignment of internal and external testing teams, such as managing an external QA agency
• Have experience in implementing test procedures in an organisation e.g. using different software tools would be considered a plus
• Are self-driven, structured, detail oriented and meticulous
• Have strong communication skills with fluent English written and verbal skills. Danish is not mandatory
• Have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Take pride in delivering 100% quality work
• Take personal responsibility for any task in your job
