Responsible IT system consultant with 3-5 years experience

The public image of the company
ETI is looking for an experienced and competent system consultant to strengthen our Customer Service and Implementation Department, which ensures the optimal implementation of ETI high-end IT-/network solutions at our international customer sites.

An important connection between project teams and the customer
Our products are based on modular design and this means that our products cover a wide field i.e. from small independent units to large turnkey systems and always in relation to customer requirements.

As a system consultant you will be dealing with small as well as large applications and components and also with integration of third party applications in large turnkey systems. All solutions are being made in multidisciplinary project groups and you will be responsible for the implementation- and running-in phases. In the role as a system consultant, you will be in close cooperation with project managers, developers and our international customers.

Job challenges
The ETI system consultant is an important player throughout the whole project process and is the public image of the company at the customer site. You are the one to make sure that the customer gets the optimal outcome from the project.

The job itself is very varied and your typical ordinary day at ETI will include the following:

• Direct customer contact - Primarily on-site with our international customers
• Design and Technical project management
• Implementation of IT-/network solutions
• "Troubleshooting"
• Customer training
• System documentation
• Close cooperation with project managers, developers, supporters among others
• To take an active part in multidisciplinary projects in order to deliver solutions of a very high technical quality
• Freedom with responsibility

Our expectations
You must have 3-5 years experience within system admin or support of communications-/IT solutions (preferably large systems) or you may act as a consultant in a similar position.

You are practical and efficient and you make things happen. As a person you are highly motivated and prefer to see solutions rather than problems.

Professionally you have solid knowledge and experience with Win2003/2008 server-based networks and preferably with a MCSA/MCSE/MCITP certification. Experience with SQL server, Linux as well as large networks would be an advantage.

Your IT "tool box" should contain some of the following tools:

• Deployment, backup, monitoring and scripting.

Personally you are extrovert, robust and independent - You work in a structured and analytical way when finding solutions to complex technical problems. Additionally you are capable of establishing and maintaining strong relations with your key customers (both internally and externally) built on trust and professionalism. Finally, you are motivated by meeting new people and you enjoy dealing with foreign cultures.

The position includes about 100 annual travel days - typically of 1-3 weeks' duration. You will have the chance to work with large IT systems with many technologies and constantly you can expand your knowledge. In addition to that the job could also be the ideal stepping stone to any further career within the ETI group.
