GEA Process Engineering is looking for a SAP Manager for new, global implementation, with a base in Denmark.
We are facing an exciting challenge to implement a whole new SAP solution covering most business processes in approx. 50 companies all over the world, e.g. UK, Germany, USA, India, China and Australia.
The SAP project will be driven by GEA Process Engineering and based in Søborg, Copenhagen. The project team will be a part of the Corporate Business Development department, which is tasked with developing and harmonising business processes based on the business needs of the companies. The global implementation of SAP ECC 6.0 will be carried out by internal GEA SAP consultants in collaboration with external SAP partners.
The Project Manager will lead and manage a team of business and technical resources during the Blueprint and roll-out phases to capture detailed business requirements, future business processes and to complete the gap analysis. The Project Manager will also prepare project plans and track team progress, provide regular status reporting and institute and issue tracking mechanism to ensure timely issue resolution/decision making.
Job Description
- Provide leadership for activities, requirements gathering, design, implementation, documentation, testing, cutover and deployment
- Ensure project stays within scope and budget and timelines are met
- Align project resources with business needs
- Propose solutions to assure risks are mitigated
- Secure effective communication between the business and the project teams
- Analysis of business processes across companies
- Redesign and harmonization of business processes in cooperation with the business units
- Devise solution designs (prototyping/business blueprint) and roll-out templates
- Communication and cooperation with relevant stakeholders, IT developers and external consultants
- Travel time will be a part of the job
- Experience with SAP´s ASAP methodology
- Knowledge and experience of the relevant business processes in engineer-to-order companies
- Knowledge of the possibilities in the SAP Best Practice Processes and related SAP modules.
- General knowledge of different SAP modules and their integration
- Relevant business or technical higher education
- Adept at communicating and presenting in English
- Excellent leadership skills
- Project Management experience from global SAP project
Qualifications
Experience with the SAP industry solution for industrial machinery and components will be an advantage but not a requirement.

- Personal motivation in using experiences in the SAP Best Practice Processes to improve and streamline business processes to the benefit of the companies
- In possession of social and cultural understanding and clout to drive projects forward in cooperation with IT developers, external consultants, and liaisons in the business departments
