Senior IT Application Consultant – SAP Supply Chain Management

You will join the Operations department within Corporate IT in Billund. We focus on enabling the LEGO business strategy by supporting the LEGO business Operations organization. The LEGO business Operations organization consist of the functions; Value Chain Innovation, Planning & Distribution, Procurement, Quality & Engineering and Manufacturing. In Corporate IT Operations we are organized in teams consisting of all competences needed to provide high quality solutions to business. You will therefore be working closely in your team consisting of 12 colleagues with development, applications, process - and solution architecture competencies.

As the LEGO Group is growing, Corporate IT builds the application platforms and the knowledge base to support business. You will be working with SAP ECC (6.0) and SAP APO (7.0) with main focus on Supply Chain Management. We are particularly looking for skills within the areas of PP, MM and APO PP/DS. You will work with global employment which can take you travelling up to 20 days per year.

Part of your time will be dedicated to projects, where you use your business process and flow understanding to identify and resolve gaps between SAP and the company business processes.
Projects vary in size and complexity from 3- 12 months, and you will often be part of teams with 5-10 other colleagues, frequently across functions and borders. You will occasionally coordinate internal teams as well as external consultants.

The remainder of your time will be spend in daily operational processes within support issues as well as analyze and design new business processes, including prototyping, creating functional design specifications and data/function mapping. In all aspects, you will meet time budget and quality requirements and you ensure that external consultants also meet our standards - by training them and conducting QA on their assignments.

Solid SAP skills and intercultural understanding
Your latest job was as a SAP Consultant, Customizer or Architect - preferably working 3-5 years with SAP PP, MM or APO PP/DS. Your track record includes having participated in and lead SAP projects, and it is a plus if you have direct experience from business. Preferably you have been in a Planning or a Purchasing organization for part of your previous career.

Last but not least you are fluent in English.

With your strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, you quickly build networks and engage in close cooperation with business units and external suppliers. You demonstrate an open, honest and direct communication style and you readily accept and use the expertise of others. You always go for the strategic goals that are outlined, and you are mature and independent in your attitude towards prioritizing and solving tasks. Finally, you actively seek opportunities to enhance your specialist knowledge and always keep cool in peak situations.
