Within the Delivery Management organisation in Maersk Line IT, the SOA Integration Solutions portfolio (SIS) is a key driver in Maersk Lines SOA transformation initiative. SIS is current building the team, both organisationally and technically, to deliver process driven business solutions on the new service orientated platforms. As we reshape the way we work, we need key people help drive change while delivering on our promise to the business.

Project Management; SOA monitoring
The SOA monitoring project manager will be based in SIS, and be a key player in the SOA transformation and compliance. The primary task is to ensure implementation of the needed monitoring to ensure a resilient production platform - together with relevant stakeholders.

Role and Resposibilities

• Manage, control and coordinate monitoring offering.
• Work with team and our projects to define monitoring processes and standards.
• Work with team to ensure adequate monitoring offering, and with relevant stakeholders to ensure knowledge about the possibilities.
• Continually seek process improvements and drive associated changes within the SIS organization and beyond if necessary.

Monitoring area keywords

• SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), OSB (Oracle Service Bus), SLA (Service Level Agreements), OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)

We expect the right candidate to possess the following experiences and characteristics

The ideal candidate holds a master degree or other relevant formal certification (e.g. PMI or Prince 2) in IT project management. ITIL knowledge is a plus. Actual and relevant experience with IT projects is more important though. Experience working in large regional or global companies is preferred. Experience with SOA is a plus, but not essential.

You have excellent analytical skills enabling you to analyse problems, provide alternatives and recommendations and implement solutions. You make timely decisions to meet requirements, timeline and expectations. You have a self-motivating and pro-active nature and have a structured approach to your tasks. You are able to work effectively under pressure and you possess good vendor relation management skills. We are looking for an energetic person with an optimistic nature and good sense of humour, who is willing to be part of a multicultural team.
