Join us and become Site and Commissioning Project Manager for construction sites in one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating offshore wind farms.
Together with 15 other committed colleagues, you will participate in the execution of offshore wind farm projects in a department responsible for the mobilisation, operation and demobilisation of offshore wind farm construction sites, including the supervision of installation and commissioning works.
You will be joining our site and commissioning management department, which is part of Renewables, a large and rapidly growing business unit with 930 employees. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources.
You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte. You should expect some travels and long-term expatriate service on construction sites in either the United Kingdom or Germany. You may also choose to sign a Commuter agreement with us.
Areas of responsibility
You will head the construction organisation through its entire lifetime, and you will play an essential role in relation to all sorts of site matters during the project period.
Your key duties will include handling various tasks on our sites, including proactively ensuring an optimum work performance and addressing all possible installation and commissioning challenges. You will also contribute to and plan onsite activities at an early stage.
Additionally, your key areas of responsibility will include:
- preparation and planning of activities regarding negotiation with authorities
- ensuring appropriate resources and competences in relation to the manning of our construction site
- ensuring work performance in accordance with contracts, plans, time schedules, costs and QHSE
- executing site management activities, including ensuring an appropriate site organisation during construction
- assisting the project manager with handover of the wind farm to our operations department.
Your profile
You will have a suitable educational background, eg a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or similar.
Additionally, you will have some years of experience with offshore wind farm installation, preferably from offshore construction projects. Furthermore, you will have knowledge of FIDIC and BIMCO.
