Danfoss Power Electronics is a world leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of solar inverters and electric motor controllers (frequency converters) for devices such as pumps, belt conveyors and cranes.  The company is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for a software developer to help continue and consolidate this success.

As a software architect in one of the most innovative development environments in the industry, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the continued development of our current software architecture and development methodology within:

• software product lines
• software architecture
• feature modelling
• pervasive computing
• platform development

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expertise on architectural issues, knowhow with configuration, process and provide input to the development strategy. In addition you will participate in our development toward a more model-based approach, ensuring adherence with the organization's development methodology.

Together with a top team of embedded software engineers in our Global Software Group, you will actively contribute to achieving growth targets and support R&D centres on design issues.

Qualifications
We imagine that you have

• a Master's degree in software engineering, computer science or equivalent
• experience with C and C++
• knowledge on Software Product lines
• knowledge on Feature modelling
• some experience with embedded software
• experience with Object oriented development and the use of patterns
  

In addition, you communicate well in English (spoken and written) and are prepared to travel up to 10 days per year.
