Specialist in Network & Security

Responsibility area and project work:
You will be one out of five Network Specialists that maintain and administrate our network environments. DataMedia Operations consists of a SAN & Backup team, a Database team and a LAN/WAN team, whose primary responsibilities are design, development and operations of our IT infrastructure.

You will work in close cooperation with the Server Operations and Mobility division. Participation in project work (across the organisation and within the department) is common. The foundation of our IT processes is based on ITIL and documentation is part of our daily work. You are expected to participate in the 24/7 on call duty approximately one week every month.

LAN/WAN team:
The team is split in development and operations of IP/MPLS-network and Mobility Business solutions. This position is in the operations area, which includes Office LAN/WAN, Telia Shops, Firewalls and a number of IP-core networks for production, e.g. GPRS and Homerun (Wi-Fi). We primarily work with products from Cisco and Checkpoint and we focus on security, performance and availability.

As a person you are:

• You speak and write English fluently.

Experience:
You have at least 5 years experience working in complex enterprise IT environments with focus on 24/7 operations. You are expected to have thorough knowledge of IP-based network administration and security. Experience with Cisco and Checkpoint is required. It is an advantage if you have experience with Mobile Telecommunication, and are familiar with the ITIL terminology.
