Maersk Line IT is responsible for global applications and infrastructure of the Maersk Line container business. Responsibilities cover development, operation, maintenance, support, education and technical management.

The majority of the work is handled through outsourcing to professional IT vendors, and thus Maersk Line IT consists of a balanced mix of business people and IT professionals with a strong interest in providing new process and application solutions to the global container business.

We are looking for a student controller to help us with various administrative tasks in Maersk Line IT's Supply & Cost Management department. This student job is a great opportunity for you to gain practical experience in a global financial control function with the possibility for networking and a potential full-time employment when you finalize your studies.

General job tasks

• Assist in financial Month-End Reporting
• Update financial reporting system with cost estimates for rest-of-year forecast
• Support team in analysing data
• Possibility of participating in various projects
• Help in updating our Visual Management System (Control Charts)
• Assist with presentations to various audience
• Various ad-hoc tasks

Technical skills and experience

• You are currently studying a Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance/Accounting, Economics or Business Administration
• Advanced level of Excel (Look-ups, pivots) and PowerPoint skills

• Ability to get things done and question if things can be done in a better way

• Be flexible in the tasks that have been assigned and to be able to prioritise accordingly.
