For the Grid Connection group within our Engineering organization in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for a System Analysis Engineer. The Grid Connection group is responsible for the development of control strategies, simulation models, testing, validation and technical support in relation to grid connection of wind turbines and wind power plants.

Work Assignments
You will be part of an organization at the forefront of technical development in the field of control systems, and thus have the opportunity to shape the future of our control system technology. More specifically, your main responsibilities will cover:

  • Troubleshooting complex control systems
  • Performing harmonic / dynamic and stability assessments of the control systems with focus on the interplay between the high number of control systems subject to very specific robustness and performance requirements
  • Being involved in the entire development process from calculation, design and simulation model development to full-scale wind farm testing

Your Profile
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering combined with a thorough technical understanding and control engineering knowledge. Preferably, you have converter technology and grid connection experience and are familiar with Matlab and Simulink.

As a person, you have an analytical mindset and a strong drive to succeed. You have a structured and detail-oriented approach to your work and are a dedicated team player with the ability to work independently and to interface with numerous parties in a multicultural organization. Furthermore, you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.
