Team Leader – Digital Workplace Solutions - Maersk Line, Copenhagen, Denmark

We are scouting for a strong leader to head DWS team in the Corporate Service Centre IT. You will join an ever-changing environment where we striving to provide top of class IT support and solutions to our internal customers on time. You will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and should expect 10-15 travel days per year. You will team with and report to the Head of department.

Team leadership, project planning and stakeholder management
You will lead a team of 4 highly engaged and competent colleagues, including Application Managers, Project Managers and Business Consultants. Your team is responsible for the delivery of services to the Group's web platform that hosts the external web sites and intranet. Presently, the chief and major project is the upgrade of the Group's web platform into SharePoint 2010. Upon this project's completion, you will help transform the team from a service organisation into a Centre of Excellence. You will also work with a team of 12 colleagues working with various types of SharePoint and web support via our service centre in India.

As responsible for a coordinated planning of the IT projects you become a member of various steering groups and the IT Management team. You facilitate and participate in discussions to ensure compliance with our SharePoint Management Board, just as you make sure that the right resources are allocated to the various projects to meet the deliverables. In general, you can look forward to an extrovert position where you liaise with Communication Managers, Business Process Owners and Senior IT stakeholders across all functions and business units.

Managerial background and web management experience
You have supplemented your Communication or IT degree with solid managerial experience. As such, you can lead and secure dedication from your team members while establishing good relationships and fostering a positive work environment. Besides, you have experience with web management and excel at navigating among many stakeholders, involving the right ones at the right time. If you have experience driving a global web platform or knowledge of SharePoint or other MS Office programmes, it will be a plus.

To be successful in this role, you must be a driver of change who can ensure a very short turnaround time. As we operate in an extremely competitive environment, you and your team's challenge is to deliver quality IT services in due time. You have a strong business process understanding and are able to translate business requirements into value adding business solutions. You put your customers at the core of your work, and you possess solid interpersonal skills allowing you to comfortably interact at upper and lower organisational levels. Finally, you need an excellent command of written and spoken English.
