For the expanding Loads team within Engineering at our global head office in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to manage and coach a team of highly competent engineers. The team is responsible for load simulations for rotor and turbine development projects, assessment of load consequences, development of aeroelastic tools and methods for loads simulations and validation of load simulation tools.
Work Assignments
The Loads team is working closely together with our Loads teams in Taastrup, Denmark, and in Boulder, USA, as well as with our colleagues in Haag, Holland. As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team as well as for the planning and optimal use of the team resources.
More specifically, your assignments will cover:
Your Profile
You have an engineering background in structural dynamics combined with strong team management experience, and preferably experience with wind turbine loads.
As a person you are proactive and self-determined, and you take ownership of your assignments. You have the drive to continuously create results and motivate your team to perform successfully, and you possess strong interpersonal and decision-making skills. In addition, you are change oriented and strive to optimize methods, tools and processes. You thrive in a multicultural environment and possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
