The job

We are looking for an experienced Test Engineer/Test Lead to one of our application within MLIT portfolio of applications.

The team is responsible for development, maintenance and operations of one of the central application within Maersk Line: Global Customer Service Application.

It is the biggest system in Maersk Line and handles up to 26.000 bookings each day and has 4.600 concurrent users on average. Its availability and continuous improvements to its functionality is an absolute key for the business.

We drive the development process with a full off shore solution within an Lean Product Development method together with our vendor. The team has 10 persons located in Copenhagen and 100+ located in the rest of the world. The development is done in a very tight collaboration with Maersk Line, our business owners.

Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer/Test Lead you will be responsible for:

• Defining and implementing a risk based test strategy and relevant test plans together with vendor.
• Drive overall quality concerns and focus areas towards vendor.
• Follow up implementation/fulfillment of specified quality goals within the port folio.
• Mature and grow our test patterns in corporation with the Test Management Office and test community in MLIT,
• Drive our deployment strategy.
• Coordinate test environments and plans with rest of MLIT portfolios.
• Planning, estimating, specifying, and executing test through releases.
• Maintain close contact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Using and improving best practices within area of influence amongst other through participation in the test community.

Your profile
we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• More than 5 years of test experience from a large and complex software test environment
• Experience in test of UNIX/LINUX and ORACLE development
• Strong Knowledge of how applications integrate with other technologies e.g. JAVA, SOA and other service providers
• Fluency in English, both in writing and speech
• Strong understanding of how software enables the business.
• Have experience with Agile development methods, e.g. Kanban, and the test process within an Agile environment. Have experience with working within a distributed project team.
• Have an ISTQB certification or equivalent
• Have experience with test tools e.g. Quality Center, QTP, Performance Center
