Maersk Line is commencing a new and exciting journey to build up our Business Intelligence Competency Centre. Solid anchored within our Business Finance setup the aim is to strengthen the link between IT and business within the BI space and thereby taking performance management and reporting to the next level.In this context, we are looking for a Technical Strategy Consultant to be part of our journey and the challenges ahead when establishing the department. You will be part of the Information Strategy team in the BICC, where you will be shaping the direction for the department and the overall BI Strategy for the company.

In the Information Strategy team we will be responsible for shaping the overall BI strategy for Maersk Line, layout the roadmaps and drive change management in the BI space. You will join a diverse organization with broad future career opportunities for strong performers.
Working as Technical Strategy Consultant in the Information Strategy team, you will take responsibility for shaping the technology strategy for BI globally in Maersk Line.
You will take an end-to-end ownership of technology strategy from analysis and design to strategy formulation and implementation. You will work in collaboration with IT work to ensure that Maersk Line has the right capabilities to enable BI.
The overall vision is to ensure BI is recognized for agility, speed and scalability while efficiently enabling the organization with relevant data for informed decision-making. And you will play an important role in driving this.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for candidates with a proven performance track record
- The ideal candidate has a relevant Master degree and a minimum of 7-10 years experience within Business Intelligence from either consulting or a global shipping/logistics company
- Proven track record in delivering a technology strategy that spans and effectively draws on the strengths of multiple vendors across the entire technology stack
- Strategic mind-set and an ability to convert complex problems into pragmatic, practical solutions
- Strong independent drive to achieve success in your work
- Ability to work across an organisation and engage with senior management
- Strong personal impact with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
