Senior Project Manager, Core Banking Platform

The Core Banking Program (CBP) is committed not only to reshaping the business aspect of the bank but also streamlining and maturing the technical side. To succeed in this, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager, who can help us establishing the necessary technical environments to enable a successful delivery.  

This initiative aims at creating a capability for automating the setup of environments in addition to ensuring proper governance, management and operations of these.  

The position we offer

You will be working in the highly complex environment with a high number of applications (200+) and a large number of key stakeholders within the programme but also outside of the programme.  

As Senior Project Manager, you will drive the setup and management of the test environment management capability in order to meet agreed service level agreements and provide a highly available service. Further, you design and build processes to ensure effective use and management of the test environments. We expect you to have in-depth knowledge about environments management, test data management and service management in large organisations and businesses.  

Additionally, you will also address the needs, manage expectations and provide optimal stakeholder management.  

Another part of your job will also be to ensure that all stakeholders to the project are considered. You are therefore proactive in partnering up with colleagues from other units to lead the setup of the environments management service, supporting a highly automated and available environment.  

You will be responsible for coaching your team members in order to make sure that they reach their full potential and empower the team to support a work environment where the team is encouraged to self-organise, take ownership and reach a high stable performance.  

The qualifications you need

We are looking for a colleague who has both deep technical understanding and significant experience in managing large teams and coordinating between different parties. You are a natural in stakeholder management, which is important as you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from across the organisation such as; application providers, platform owners, operations and other teams spread across different locations in the Nordics, Poland and India.  

You are a good communicator and you possess an open mind and natural curiosity, which coupled to your problem solving skills, help you motivate and lead others towards achieving the outlined vision. We believe that you are strong in decision making and paving the way how to build the end-to-end environment for a high number of applications.

In addition, you are:  

  • Experienced with IT Infrastructure management  
  • Capable of handling complex planning and organising  
  • Very experienced with Application Management  
  • Good with negotiating and responding to change  
  • Good at presenting and communicating information to engage stakeholders and team members  
  • Fluent English skills  
     

The position will be preferably placed in Copenhagen, but Sweden and Finland can be possible locations.
