Sharepoint Specialist for NNIT IT Operations
NNIT is seeking a Sharepoint Specialist preferable with experience within SharePoint operation for our team in IT Operations. As a Sharepoint Specialist you will join the Application Services area where you will be part of our global organization with colleagues in China, the Czech Republic as well as Søborg and Århus in Denmark.
Your responsibilities as a Sharepoint Specialist
You will be joining a team of 11 ambitious specialists in DK that are responsible for ensuring the stable operation of our customers’ content management systems. This includes solving complex issues on existing customer platforms, optimizations and improvements as well as implementation of new content management platforms.
You will work with a variety of content management environments for our customers – and your responsibilities will include:
- Daily operations and maintenance of content management platforms based on SharePoint, Sitecore, EPIServer, Umbraco and Domino Notes
- Participation in NNIT Operation Centre supporting customers with a variety of SharePoint cases
- Engage in daily communication and consultancy with our customers concerning both technical and business perspectives
- Participation in customer projects such as installation, upgrade and migration of content management platforms
- Contribution to service development, optimization and automation initiatives
- Preparation and update of documentation
The success of the Content Management/Sharepoint team relies on each team member and it is important that you participate actively in lifting the team’s responsibilities. Together with your colleagues you take the part in ensuring that NNIT’s services appear seamless and coherent to our customers.
You understand the importance of the work in highly regulated industries and you accept that sometimes the formalities may demand work besides the technical part. For you the job is not done until the documentation is in place and traceability has been demonstrated. The daily operation will be grounded in the ITIL framework.
As an experienced Specialist you help to keep us at the forefront of knowledge about the professional and technological developments within content management platforms and you will contribute actively to the further improvement, documentation and operation of our customers’ environments.
The team is part of IT Operations Services responsible for everything from infrastructure and applications to complete orchestration and support of our customers’ IT solutions. Our work processes are based on best practice and our procedures follow ITIL standards (IT Infrastructure Library).
Your qualifications and experience
You have experience with operation of infrastructure, servers and IIS. You have a general knowledge and interest in content management systems - preferably with focus on SharePoint. A master's degree is ideal, but a long relevant experience can be just as crucial.
Furthermore it would be preferable if you have experience within the following technologies/frameworks:
- Windows Server
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Office 365/SharePoint Online
- Internet Information Services (IIS)
- ITIL Framework
You are ambitious with the quality of your work and you speak and write fluent Danish and English. You demonstrate excellent self-management skills.
