About the job
You will be placed in our Service and platform design team in Operations, together with architects responsible for all Operations standard services. Our ambition, as a part of our SIAM strategy, is to build a “second to none” standard service portfolio based on multiple suppliers and our own production.
As one of our database service owners you will be in charge of aligning our service portfolio with the market demands. You should also fully support KMDs own IP development, and our strategies in the BigData/analytics area. Service design and development will be done in close collaboration with our service suppliers.
The job will be a combination of designing and developing new service, improve existing services, and administrating the current portfolio. This means you must be able to dive very deep into technical stuff – with hands on – and still be able to have the big picture in mind.
- Design, develop and maintain our Hadoop and NOSQL database components
- Ongoing service improvement together with the suppliers
- Cost and quality of the database portfolio, together with the colleague responsible for relational databases
- Tender & solution complicity
- Share your knowledge with colleagues and not afraid of explaining your vision on technical aspect
- Writing relevant service documentation
You could have an academic background within IT, with a deep knowledge of databases. You are experienced in bringing service and solutions to the customer – on time, on budget and high quality.
We expect you to be a strong team player with great communication skills. Furthermore, it is a fundamental requirement within this team, that you exhibit flexibility as well as thrive with responsibility in your daily routines.
Documented experience in the following areas is a requirement:
- Linux OS
- NOSQL databases
- Architectural framework such as TOGAF
- Service requirements and service design process
Full Danish and English proficiency is also a must.
