As a Test Manager, you will be responsible for planning, management, execution and reporting of the test process. You will prepare different test levels, monitor the progress and report the result of the test execution to relevant stakeholders.
The test scope includes functional testing, integration testing, stress and performance testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing.
Test Manager core activities:
- Overall responsibility for a Test Strategy for the project, in collaboration with test managers of partner projects as well as the Test Center of Excellence (Test CoE).
- Plan end-to-end test activities in line with Maersk Line IT’s project model, based on the Test Framework owned by Test CoE.
- Ensure prerequisites for testing are planned and managed – e.g. test cases are documented, test data is available, legacy test environments are booked in advance etc.
- Monitor, measure, control and report on test progress.
- Plan coordinated testing with all sub-projects to make sure dependencies are accounted for.
- Assess whether solutions deliverables are properly tested before they are promoted to the next environment.
Who we are looking for
Extensive testing experience in connection with software development, preferably as Test Manager.
Ability to facilitate workshops with stakeholders across the organization.
Experienced in defining and documenting test strategy and test planning.
Experienced in working on large scale projects with many sub-deliveries.
Comfortable with working with challenging deadlines whilst managing multiple activities.
TMap or ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
Ability to balance conflicting needs.
Structured, proactive and engaging approach to working with colleagues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Outgoing personality with an international mindset able to work with people across cultures and hierarchies.
