Senior Manager - Agile coach with capability to enrol teams in the Arla agile vision
In Arla Foods we are on a journey to bring the customers/consumers closer to our business through new ways of working. Arla IT is a natural part of this journey and we are looking for a senior manager, who can set the “agile direction” together with highly skilled Agile teams. For this journey you lead selected “big bets” towards value realization. The Agile agenda is closely related to the overall commercial agenda, which is playing a vital and significant role in the realization of Arla Foods growth strategy.
You will join our IT Portfolio Management Office in Aarhus. We are a team of 30+ global colleagues, who are responsible for portfolio planning and project execution for all IT projects in Arla Foods.
Take the lead on the Agile coaching
The Agile agenda shall bring Arla closer to a faster and more effective project delivery and give Arla a clear competitive advantage through a close interaction with customers/consumers. Our ambitions are both high and bold, we want to transform the Arla way of running projects by showing outstanding results.
Your role in this journey is to set the direction for how to plan and execute projects and lead by example. Your primary tasks will be:
- Share your experience with scaled Agile methods (Big Agile, e.g. SAFe)
- Train and coach project participants in how to run Agile projects
- Communicate to stakeholders at all levels to increase the awareness of the Big bets and the Agile agenda and the possibilities it offers to Arla
- Coach Agile teams and work with continuous improvements in both methods and projects
- Exercise your great leadership skills
You will have stakeholders from all over Arla, and you will have to travel to stay close to the key stakeholders. You can expect to travel 10-20 days a year.
Experienced Agile coach with a fantastic drive
You probably hold a Master’s degree within IT, Engineering or Business Administration and have solid experiences with agile methods and agile ways of working. Preferably you have transformed an organisation with good results or taken part in an Agile transformation. This could have been obtained with packed software, preferably SAP.
As person you have lots of energy and can turn your high drive into visible actions and results. You have excellent stakeholder management skills and are able to turn complex contents into a simple and easy to understand message to stakeholders at all levels in the organization. You are perceived as being an experienced coach with ability to do business change. Excellent English communication skills are essential to succeed in this position.
You are used to working in complex organisational setups, and you are open to input and ideas and use your forthcoming and trustworthy attitude to create and maintain relations. If you have experience with Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) business, it is a plus.
