You will be part of our R&D team and have 6+ professionals as your nearest colleagues located globally. We specify, develop and maintain controllers for Danfoss products for customers worldwide. Maintain, design and validate various applications
In this role, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle from specification to design, validation and implementation. Together with your colleagues, you will identify how the controllers are utilised in an application, in order to provide solutions that meet the customer’s needs. Moreover, you will design and implement our own controller designs or modify existing designs. More specifically, you will:
- Develop the embedded software using C/C++
- Solve technical and quality issues
- Perform, test and validation on the product you are developing
Your responsibilities also include coordination with Supply Chain, Service and Quality departments in relation to outsourcing of components.

Open-minded Software Engineer with a broad background
You may hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embedded Software, Industrial Communication, Automation or similar. You have a couple of years of experience within C/C++. You have knowledge of at least one of following areas: Ethernet, TCI/IP within industrial applications, CAN (CanOpen), LON, industrial communication protocols, LabVIEW. You could also be working with Linux device, driver development, system architecture or web tech for embedded devices.
On a more personal note, you are eager to learn and have the ability to embrace new tools and methods fast. You are known for your analytical abilities and open mind-set, and you have a communicative approach to colleagues and customers enabling you to build relations and cooperate across cultures and geography. At the same time, you pay attention to detail and have a sense of quality, permitting you to come up with the right solutions. You are willing to make the necessary decisions and possess a strong business understanding. Finally, you have proficiency in both written and spoken English.
