Senior Product Owner, SDK & Verticals

You are an experienced Product Owner that can coordinate, prioritize and drive the development of new, powerful, intuitive and compelling SDK and verticals features and services. You will be the voice of the customers in the fast-paced agile process of the feature teams and the voice of the feature teams in the vision and product roadmap process orchestrated by Product Management. You will be responsible for breaking down features to user stories. You will prioritize the feature team backlog so that the solution effectively addresses the program priorities and ensures technical integrity cross the various technology platforms. This will happen in close collaboration with Product Management, User Experience, other Product Owners and Feature Teams to ensure a consistent and coherent customer and partner experience.

A sneak peak of your daily work:

  • Defining, maintaining and prioritizing the feature team backlog of user stories, tasks and defects  
  • Drive the features throughout the design and development process 
  • Work with feature team to ensure quality of implementation  
  • Collaborate with UX designers and researchers to create the best of breed user experience 
  • Escalate large roadblocks for implementation of the ongoing features 
  • Strive for product excellence rather than schedule in the execution of ongoing features 
  • Participate in release planning and contribute to the product vision and roadmap

Cross-functional and cross-sites teams 

Our R&D department is using Scrum-based process and is organized in cross-functional feature teams in both Copenhagen, Denmark and Sofia, Bulgaria. Each member is reporting into the functional line management. The Product Owner is reporting to the Head of Product Design, and will be responsible for more than one feature teams. Your position will be located in Copenhagen. 

Experienced and agile 

You have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ year of experience from the IT industry and 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Program Manager/Product Manager in building and shipping scalable commercial products or services. Also, we expect you to have:

  • Hands-on experience with Agile development practices, in particular SCRUM 
  • Strong understanding of engineering functions and processes 
  • Experience and passion for developing open platforms that partners can build on and extend 
  • Deep passion for customer-driven design thinking and technology 
  • Track record of innovative solutions to customer needs 
  • Solid technical experience with C# and the .Net framework 
  • Excellent communication skills and English is at high level both verbally and in writing
