CAD Manager Creo

You will be a part of the Product Care & Cost Documentation and Standard department, which are responsible for defining and setting the standards for how we work with CAD and documentation in Product Development in the VELUX Group. The team consists of four colleagues and is placed in Østbirk, Denmark close to the E45 motorway.
Today our current environment is based on three Mechanical CAD applications, SolidWorks, Creo and AutoCAD. We have decided to move towards a single Mechanical CAD solution based on PTC Creo which will be used in the future for our Mechanical CAD design.
Collaborating with our current CAD Manager for SolidWorks and AutoCAD, you will be responsible for PTC Creo system setup and application development to support the users in VELUX Product Development who are placed at three locations in Denmark; Skjern, Østbirk and Hørsholm.
On top of that, will you also be responsible for describing the “way of working” with PTC Creo together with your team colleagues.
You must expect to travel 10-20 days per year primarily in Denmark.
Your educational background could be multiple. More importantly is that we are looking for a person with CAD experience within PTC Creo. As we are in the process of implementing PCT Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), knowledge within this field will be a plus. Experience from Managing a larger CAD environment and supporting technical CAD users is required.
You have the ability to take responsibility and needed initiative to make sure we deliver high quality in all solutions. You see the big picture and you keep a cool head - also in busy periods. Additionally, you have an operational and structured approach to every task you face, always with a focus on how to create value for the business.

Competencies such as strong communication skills are ‘a must’ and you are good at establishing and maintaining relations. As you will engage with stakeholders throughout our organisation, you must be fluent in English both orally and in writing.
