Salesforce Developer / Administrator

As a Salesforce developer at Milestone you will get a unique opportunity to impact the use of Salesforce for years to come. We are currently ramping up to execute our 2019 roadmap with ambitious and exciting initiatives on the Salesforce platform, including Lightning and Communities and you will be pivotal in these projects. 

The Position 

You will be part of a high-performance Salesforce feature Team of 4. The Salesforce Team is part of the Online Development Team that handles all of Milestone Systems online services. The online team is made up of some 16 highly skilled IT professionals, that we are in close contact with.  

The salesforce Feature team is working closely with Sales Operations and Marketing.  

We work in an agile setup using scrum, with short release cycles of 2 weeks. 

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be asked to:

  • Configure, develop, test and deploy next generation solutions in exciting projects. 
  • Take part in resolving errors and maintenance. 
  • Provide input to our application strategies and architectural designs in relation to Salesforce. 
  • Work with solution- and technical design. 
  • Participate in meetings with key stakeholders, business as well as technical. 

In short you will be asked to do “everything” on the Salesforce platform, while working closely with Milestone colleagues to get the next great solution released.   

Qualifications 

To succeed in this job, you most likely have: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar. 
  • 1 – 3 years of Salesforce experience, where you have worked with: 
    • Salesforce Administration; Roles, Profiles, Permissions, Sharing, App Exchange.
    • Salesforce development tools and Data Loader. 
    • Apex Development; Triggers, Batch Apex, API. 
    • Lightning  
    • Visualforce/HTML, Javascript. 
  • A best practice mindset. 

A Background with experience from Oracle Siebel CRM or Microsoft Dynamics or SAP CRM or other CRM can also be relevant . 

Ability to communicate fluently in English, verbally as well as in writing, is a requirement.
