Team Manager, Embedded software development
in nano technology growth company
For our client CAPRES we are looking for a Team Manager with expertise in embedded software development. You will be leading a team of three software engineers, developing and maintaining the software for Capres advanced measurement tools. Their embedded instruments based on the proprietary platform, controlled by the Linux based server - also controlling 3rd party robots, cameras and motion control systems. The user client application is running on Windows PC.
You will be cooperating and planning development with the application teams in Probe, Motion and metrology technologies. The planning of software tasks will be in relation to regular roadmaps as well as project specific requirements driven by international customer standards.
We expect you to be personally active in software specification and development. Furthermore, there will be focus on evolution of the software test methods. Occasionally, you will visit customers and take care of integration assistance to subsuppliers.
Your primary responsibilities are
- Team management and software development
- Project management of multiple concurrent projects
- Prioritizing tasks and making technical decisions
- Software architecture, design, maintenance, documentation
- Assisting support specialists to manage customer issues and evaluating risks and costs
We expect you to have a university degree within software engineering, a minimum of 5 years of programming experience of embedded systems as well as team lead and project management experience. Preferably you have experience with controllling cameras, motors, electronics, mechanics and/or automation.
Your IT and programming skills are including C++, Python, Linux, client/server and software design/architecture, software tests. It will be an advantage if you have some C#/Windows experience and some Matlab know-how, but this is not a must.
It would be great if you are familiar with Continous Development & Integration, and have focus on performance optimised coding.
You are fluent in English and Danish, both speaking and in writing.
