The position we offer
Markets Advisory Tools in Nordea Digital Markets is responsible for delivering tools for Sales within asset, liability and currency risk management. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining Nordea Analytics, an analysis platform used both internally in Nordea Markets as well as by corporate and institutional customers.
The back-bone of Nordea Analytics is our Analytics Toolkit. The Toolkit consists of functionalities for calculating key figures and risk numbers for a variety of product types, as well as extracting market and price data from multiple internal data sources within Nordea. The implementation is done in C++. To support this going forward, your responsibility will be to support the existing setup and take active part in future proofing the Toolkit.
Furthermore, you will help identify opportunities for updating existing implementations to more modern technologies and streamline the setup for the Toolkit.
In addition, you will:
- Ensure stability of the Analytics Toolkit and take an active part in supporting Nordea Analytics
- Drive the adoption of quantitative microservices within Nordea Markets
- Identify opportunities for streamlining and modernising of the Analytics Toolkit
The qualifications you need
You are highly analytical, conscientious and detail oriented and not afraid to make decisions. You enjoy working in a setting in which you have many stakeholders in the Nordics and Poland and in a job, that both requires working independently and with others.
We expect that you have a M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar and that you have solid skills in C++, COM, ATL and C#.
We would also like you to have:
- Experience in software design
- Excellent English skills
- Experience working with Scrum in an agile setup
- Ability to work independently
