Lead SAP Developer, HR systems
Do you want to play a significant part in developing our existing SAP HCM platform as well as contribute to building up our future HR system landscape? Do you want to be a part of an international HR and IT department in one of Europe’s biggest fashion companies?
We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer for a position that offers great opportunities for personal and professional development and the potential to e.g. grow into the role of Solution Architect.
You join a team of 6 ambitious colleagues in the department IT People Solutions, who are responsible for supporting and developing our global HR landscape. We set the bar high and like a good laugh and an informal tone among ourselves.
In BESTSELLER, we have a great focus on optimizing our business through modern IT solutions. As a result, we are currently in the middle of one of the world’s largest implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365. Our HR landscape will, however, remain on SAP HCM for the next couple of years and we will continue to develop new functionalities. We are simultaneously investigating which system is going to be our future HR system.
As Lead Developer, you ensure that we deliver value on our existing SAP HCM platform, both in terms of code and architecture. As you get to know our current platform and master data, you will in time also play a central role in building up our future HR landscape in a couple of years from now. Additionally, your responsibilities include:
- Quality assurance of external code and solutions
- Coding (SAP ABAP)
- Technical lead in optimizing and simplifying our platform
- Solution design of new features.
You are a skilled SAP ABAP developer (preferably HCM). It is a great advantage, if you have experience with other platforms as well. It is essential that you sincerely want to develop new skills and that you have the ability to keep up with the changing needs in your field. You think creatively and are able to see the bigger picture and build solutions, taking into consideration both current and future needs. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator and fluent in English, both written and spoken.
You are outgoing and positive and a natural team player. You actively listen to the people around you and are known for your diplomatically approach as well as for your professionalism and persistence. You focus on creating trust and strong relationships at all levels, and you have the ability to drive the organisation in the right direction within your field. Not least, you see opportunities rather than obstacles and thrive in a changing environment.
We look forward to hearing from you
If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact Pernille Wissendorf Schrøder on +45 52 15 18 21. Otherwise, send us your application and CV as soon as possible and no later than 26 November 2017.
