Vendor Manager - Arla IT
Are you fully conversant with the commercial and legal aspects of an IT oursourcing relationship? Do you have the stamina and determination to secure the best possible terms and conditions and implement them in the organisation? Our Vendor Management Office supports Arla IT with world -class strategic supplier setups governed by robust agreements. We outsource the management of applications and infrastructure and this team ensures our IT strategy is fully supported by our suppliers.
You will join the IT department in Aarhus, Denmark and will foresee and ambitious and international environment full of opportunities.
Manage Arla’s portfolio of IT vendors
Your responsibilities will cover management, implementation and maintenance of our strategic IT supplier contracts globally, with a key focus on Production IT at our dairies. You will secure contractual performance, cost-efficiency and timely delivery of services. You will also drive change management activities, project management and escalations as well as performing reviews and following up on actions. You will always ensure that our contract related activities adhere to the IT strategy and overall sourcing policies, with support from Procurement.
Together with your colleagues in the IT department, you will help protect Arla Foods from risks through a state of the art contractual framework and consistent use of the mechanisms and processes available. You will build and develop key relationships with external consultants and suppliers, as well as Arla Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Legal departments who will provide advice and sparring.
IT knowledge and solid vendor and contract management experience
You will ideally be Masters degree qualified from an IT or Business discipline with a track record of vendor/contract management, IT project management and outsourcing. Experience within IT Master Services Agreements and Framework Agreements would also be advantageous. You will be an outgoing, flexible and positive change agent with the ability to drive high performance and improvements with our Vendors. While experience in these areas is preferred, we are also open to applications from candidates with the right core skills and capabilities who are looking to develop a career in this area.
You will thrive on setting direction in an IT and commercial environment, with personal impact, strong negotiation and decision making skills. An ability to think of the bigger picture is required to ensure all our Vendors are following our IT strategy objectives.
Finally, you must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
