Service Delivery Manager
What we offer
The opportunity to join IT Services; a team of dedicated and experienced colleagues in the IT organization at Widex HQ. Here you will coordinate end-to-end IT projects – from roadmap and prioritisation to system implementation and user training – and you ensure that we deliver solutions and services effectively and on time. You will collaborate broadly across the organisation – with stakeholders ranging from business owners and IT architects to international production and sales companies. You will refer to the Director of IT Services.
You will be an important link between technical specialists and the business, building bridges between commercial needs and our IT solutions. We are transitioning to Cloud and plug-and-play Microsoft solutions, and you will help develop a roadmap and determine how to best communicate new features to our users.
In the beginning, there will be some service mapping and documentation work, setting the new standard for how we document our IT solutions. Your primary responsibility, however, will be to ensure timely and efficient delivery of end-to-end IT solutions in collaboration with the IT architects. You help define operational processes and assist in the launch as well as training and support related to delivered solutions.
As this is a new position, your experience, interests and qualifications will help shape your role. We have a pipeline of potential projects for you to take ownership of, including:
- Expanding our hybrid Cloud infrastructure
- Managing vendors and partners
- Implementing new solutions for print, WiFi, network etc.
- Including new tools like MS Teams to our global collaboration platform
- Improving internal operational processes like change and problem management
To become a trusted partner for technical and administrative colleagues alike, you have some technical and commercial insight – you speak their language, so to speak. Perhaps you have experience as an IT technician but would like a position with more project management. Or alternatively, you have strong project management skills combined with a solid technical foundation.
Independent of your current position, you know how to make things happen, set direction and inspire your colleagues to deliver. Moreover, you have:
- A technical degree within system administration, IT engineering or similar
- Some hands-on technical project management experience and preferably experience with ITIL
- Knowledge of solution delivery as well as a web standard, Azure, Office 365 and other Microsoft technologies
- Great communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently, while Danish language skills will be considered a plus
