We’re already 4 really smart DevOps in the office, members of the Zendesk DevOps family of more than 80 people spread all over the world. We’d like you to join our team. Our DevOps colleagues sit in Dublin, San Francisco, Melbourne and Singapore - just to name a few other locations. The Zendesk organisation as a whole has more than 2000 people scattered over far too many offices to name here.
You will be part of a team focused on managing the Zendesk Guide product; a subset of the Zendesk application family. Our production environment is vast, you and the team will be managing thousands of machines and hundreds of configuration and application updates daily; therefore you are that someone who strives to automate everything a system does and want the easiest deployments for all concerned. If you have strong experience with some of the following technologies that’d be awesome: AWS, Ubuntu/CentOS/CoreOS Linux, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes, Docker, Ruby, Go or Scala, Nginx, MySql, Kafka, Cassandra AND ElasticSearch.
