Sales Director, Cloud and Datacenters
Napatech, the leading provider of reconfigurable computing is expanding the EMEA Sales Team.
As Napatech deepens its’ offering of world-class solutions for Cloud and Datacenters, we are searching for a Sales Director/Account Executive to build our portfolio of customers within these areas.

The core responsibility of the role is to manage the sales process including: prospecting, building rapport, relationship management, account mining, revenue growth and maintaining customer satisfaction over multi-year cycles of product development
A typical day at work would include communicating with Vice President of International Sales –to whom this position would report, ensuring all commercial and technical needs of opportunities are delivered in a timely manner as well as heavy ongoing customer contact. You will be building our portfolio of customers over the whole EMEA region, engaging them directly or together with the support of our partners. Our Channel Director will be supporting you by engaging and recruiting the relevant channels when required.
This position will be highly supported by our best in class field engineering and R&D groups.
The right candidate
Is a self-motivated, consultative high-technology account executive who is willing to work in a global publically-traded organization.
Demonstrates proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, present to customers, build proposals and turn opportunities into revenue streams and has the ability to work as member of a team in the organization.
Has an engineering/IT sales background in the network and data delivery industry, probably within Cybersecurity - expertise with enterprise account management with embedded technologies and experience data capture appliances and, as well as existing relationships within the data center and Cloud industry in Europe or EMEA, are desirable but not necessary.
Has the patience to work on long term opportunities, knows how to engage customers at every level of the organization, not to depend on single contact and works to get some advocate within the customer to gain influence.
- Minimum of 5 years of consultative selling experience in Information Technology Services to Cloud, Data center, Telecom operators or Fortune 1000 companies
- Experience within Europe or EMEA
- Experience in solution selling, sales forecasting, maintaining customer relationships and communicating with internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal, written & presentation / communications skills
- Experience working with CRM software tools (preferably SugarCRM)
- 'Whatever it takes' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance
- Technical understanding of IT Network and their architecture
Education & Qualification
Bachelor's / Master degree in business management and or engineering/computer science
Located in Copenhagen area and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
