To our team, Product Support, we are looking for a Technical Designer/Technical Assistant. You will be part of a team of eight colleagues responsible for supporting product development and the production with product specifications, documentation and drawings for all existing products. We are the function that governance that all product information and specifications are kept up to date, are accessible and reflects VELUX quality standards.
Your primary tasks will be to
- Prepare, maintain, send out and archive technical foundation (2D drawings, standards and specifications)
- Conduct troubleshooting and update/maintain 3D documentation
- Coordinate smaller cross-functional projects including collaboration with external consultants
- Support constructors regarding search and preparation of data
Our Product Support team are located on various addresses in Denmark – you will have your base in Østbirk. You should expect approx. 15 travel days per year.
We imagine that you are an educated Technical Designer, Technical Assistant or equivalent including some years of experience from a similar role. Experience with CAD programs preferably SolidWorks or Creo is necessary. It will be a strong asset if you also have experience with technical documentation, SAP and PDM.
Some of your strong points are your ability to solve tasks always focusing on quality and details and your excellent understanding of how to navigate within different processes and programs in a matrix organisation.
On a personal level, you are truly motivated by professional challenges and a strong product knowledge and with your positive attitude, you contribute constructively to team collaboration. On top of that, you possess great drive and your strong ‘can do’ attitude gives you the will to grow and learn.
