About the department
Client Services is part of Corporate IT in Novo Nordisk, which employs approx. 800 highly skilled IT professionals in both Denmark and Bangalore, India. The department consists of 14 engaged employees who are global responsible for both the architecture and service management of end users facing IT services. We are responsible for mobility service, unified communication services and platforms, desktop management and service desks.
We are looking for a highly skilled IT architect for our 24/7 global mobility service called ‘AnyDevice’. The AnyDevice service is today highly outsourced and includes a multi-vendor set-up including a cloud based Master Data management (MDM) platform. You will play a key role in defining and maintaining the mobility strategy and optimising the balance between costs, security and simplicity for the users, as well as available technologies.
The job requires a candidate with technical background and understanding of global large scale mobile device management. We are looking for a candidate who can take a strategic lead when it comes to defining the future of being mobile in Novo Nordisk. As an IT architect, you will work closely with other IT architects and IT service managers across the Global IT organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring that our mobility platforms are user friendly and secure. Furthermore, you will support our on going strategic initiative for upgrading the desktop platforms to windows10/O365 from a mobile perspective.
Preferably you hold a Master’s degree in IT or other relevant fields and have a proven track record of strong technical understanding of and experience within enterprise architecture and mobile device management from a global organisation. Strong experience with app management is an advantage.
You have a strong ability to collaborate with internal as well as external stakeholders globally. You can transform business needs into IT requirements and services, and excel in communicating technology trends and recommend principles for global use.
Furthermore, you bring a good understanding of the end-user perspective, and solid vendor management capabilities.
As a person, you are considered an engaging and constructive team player, who also manages to work independently and have a high level of integrity and accountability.
You thrive in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment. You are structured and can apply a methodical and analytical approach to complex tasks and have a strong sense of responsibility for meeting objectives.
Excellent communication skills in written and oral English are a prerequisite.
