About the department
In Corporate IT, you will be part of a highly engaged department; Research & Development (R&D) IT Trial Solutions. We are responsible for managing IT systems which are core to the clinical trials driven by Research & Development in Novo Nordisk.
We manage the operations of the systems including the support processes, new potential changes and the release lifecycles. Working closely with Line of Business and vendors, we ensure that Novo Nordisk’s business processes are supported optimally by the IT systems. You will part of a department with colleagues in Bagsværd as well as Bangalore in India and you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work.
You will be working to continuously maintain, develop and improve the GxP IT Systems supporting the clinical trials being used globally by Novo Nordisk.
As a Business Analyst, the job entails a broad range of IT system management activities such as (but not limited to); Being responsible for ensuring that the computer system is in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements, ensuring external vendors are fulfilling contract responsibilities, collaborating with Line of Business (LoB), vendors, key stakeholders and service providers globally, facilitating and controlling system changes, creation and update of system management procedures and documentation, management reporting on a regular basis and making recommendations for improvements.
This position is part of a small team establishing the system management organisation, processes and tools for a new clinical GxP cloud-based IT system currently being implemented as part of a large IT project. Once the system is live, the team and this position will transition into being the system management organisation taking over full system management responsibility from the project. As part of your role in the project phase you will build the necessary system expertise and process knowledge to be successful in supporting the system once live.
You will work closely with your colleagues, Line of Business, IT system vendor and system Quality Analysts (QA). Although based at our Bagsværd office, a high degree of onsite presence with LoB at our offices in Måløv will be required.
The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree within a relevant area and a proven track record of 2 to 4 years of experience in IT system management or IT project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant business experience.
The position requires that you have a natural interest in system management. You have a thorough understanding of quality and are able to deliver accordingly.
Your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at a time and still keep an ongoing drive for results.
Being open minded and positive you are a natural relation builder to people across all organisational levels, geography and cultural differences enabling you to collaborate and communicate with external parties, such as customers and vendors, driving the necessary deliverables with a service mindset.
As a person you are dedicated to your tasks, a team player, have a good sense of humour and enjoy a busy, professional but also informal atmosphere. You must be able to work independently as you collaborate with different stakeholders in IT system management, line of business and vendors at both a global and virtual level. You are able to both go into a detailed analysis as well as keeping the overview and setting directions for vendors and for line of business. You are a good communicator and fluent in both written and spoken English.
