SAP SD Consultant

Would you like to join a premium shoe manufacturer and take part in the global development, maintenance and implementation of SAP SD functionalities? As SAP SD Consultant in ECCO, you will experience a challenging and developing job with a high degree of freedom to act in an international company with the whole world as your workplace.

Analytical position involved in the entire process

As SAP SD Consultant, you will be involved in all aspects of the SAP SD and related software solutions. Some of the main responsibilities in the role are to analyze and map sales and distribution business requirements into possible IT deliverables. You will be customizing and setting up SAP SD functionalities, after which you implement them to support relevant stakeholders. You will be in contact with both external and internal business partners on a daily basis concerning smaller scale enhancements.

In this role, you will engage closely with business partners on project related work as well as smaller scale changes and enhancements – both in headquarters and globally. You will participate in and potentially manage projects within your own competence area. Additionally, you will participate in projects, which include overall functional design under supervision of the Solution Architect.

Independent profile with SAP SD experience

You have solid experience working with SAP SD, ideally in an international environment. You are familiar with basic sales and distribution processes. Knowledge about variant configuration would be an advantage. You know the methods used when implementing SAP SD functionalities. Today, ECCO work with the industrial solution AFS/FMS. ECCO’s corporate language is English, which you master written and verbally.

With your analytical approach and outgoing character, it comes naturally to you to engage in constructive discussions and dialogues with stakeholders and to facilitate and contribute in knowledge sharing. You understand and respect cultural differences, as you will be working in an international environment. You are self-motivating and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you are able to manage several on-going projects simultaneously.


At ECCO, you will work in an informal and ever-changing environment, where good initiatives and ideas are valued. As a member of the Sales & Retail Competence Centre Team, the whole world is your workplace, as you will be in contact with stakeholders across ECCO’s key locations in the EU, US and Asia. Travelling must be expected (approximately 20 days per year).
