System Managers

Would you like to build and run system management in a fast growing biotech company?

As System Manager you will be responsible for building and running system management for selected business areas and platforms. You will support the business and enable Ascendis Pharma to efficiently run and expand the application landscape in an outsourced environment.

You will join the Ascendis Pharma Global IT and become part of a very exciting journey. You will have good development opportunities in a very flexible environment where “the way we do things here” is open for discussion.

Your main responsibilities are

  • User Access management
  • Business requirements specification and expectation alignment
  • Change & Release Management
  • Ensuring compliance in relation to GxP and SOX
  • License Management
  • Super user and end user training and other OCM activities
  • Functional support
  • Vendor Management
  • Road maps for IT systems
  • Contribute to all phases of projects, upgrades, etc.
     

Ideally, you hold a Master’s Degree combined with at least 5 years of experience in system management from the pharmaceutical/biotech industry maybe as Application/System Manager, Service Delivery Manager or similar.

The following qualifications are desirable:

  • Proven track record in managing applications/platforms
  • Knowledge and experience with life science/pharma information systems
  • Experience with vendor management and contracting with external service providers.
     

It is an advantage if you have knowledge about the Veeva platform and one or more key business areas/processes within pharmaceutical development (Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Development, Operations/Supply Chain, and Commercial Operation).

You are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.

You work in a structured way and communicate well with many types of internal and external stakeholders. Your approach is entrepreneurial and you enjoy finding solutions that meet the business needs. Drive and initiative are part of your personality and you are comfortable with working in a dynamic environment.

Last but not least, you have a good sense of humor and enjoy working cross-cultural.

Travelling: Approx. 20-30 days/year
